How to succeed in business – a list of the most important factors

I am not writing this article “How to succeed in business” at all. The other day, I accidentally stumbled upon a list of success factors in business with which I strongly disagree. And I decided to make my own)). First, I bring one that made me write again about how to achieve success in business, i.e. wrong list, in my opinion. Here he is:

Knowledge 16.50%
Creativity 16.50%
Skills 13.30%
Intelligence 12.80%
Perseverance 10.60%
Experience 10.10%
Working capacity 6.90%
Talent 5.00%
Communication 4.60%
Luck 3.70%
Well, I can’t say that this list is straight out of nowhere, and one cannot disagree with some points. But, nevertheless, the most embarrassing thing is that in this list of factors of success in business there are no completely integral elements of real and practical achievement of business success. For example, where is the willingness to take risk or determination …

How to succeed in business: discuss the most important factors

Well, okay, you can comment a lot about everything, but I’d better immediately post my list of factors and secrets of business success. Here’s what it looks like:

Determination;
Perseverance;
Tenacity;
Disability;
Knowledge;
Calculated risk;
Experience;
Creativity;
Teamwork;
Skills;
Communication
Intelligence;
Luck.
Enough, let it be 13. Agree, 13 factors, how to achieve success in business – sounds like a good headline, no? 🙂 Okay with that :-). Seriously, I would not directly argue that from the point of view of importance for achieving success in business, this is how they should be located. I would distribute all success factors in business into several groups, again, based on their weight in achieving success. Each group will have a certain weight or importance, but I would not compare the factors within the groups, there are no priorities.

In the first group I would put decisiveness, perseverance, perseverance and ability to work. As you noticed, I just listed the characteristics of a person’s character. And, I believe that they are – the most important factor in business success and not only. Agree, why do you need all the knowledge and creativity, skills and abilities, if you SOLIDLY did not decide to start your own business from scratch, achieve something, earn some money, anything … Or if you are not ready to work, or if you refuse at the first failure … You won’t achieve such success, not only in business.
The second group is knowledge, experience, creativity, teamwork and the ability to take risks. They are important, of course. It will be difficult for you to do business without understanding it at all. Or at first it will be more difficult if there is no experience. Creativity will also help, first of all, because you will need to be different in order to succeed, to find your own highlight in business. When working in a team (or with a team), goals are also much easier to achieve. And in the end, if you are not ready to make any risky decisions at all, you will not be successful in business. I even thought to include this item in the first group. And now I’m not sure that I did the right thing. But, let me remind you, risky, but still calculated and considered decisions, that is, managed risk, as I called it. All of these factors can greatly affect your business. And there is no need to think that this is the second group, and that it is not so important. In business, this is important.
The third group included all other factors. Not that they are unimportant, it’s just that you can do without them, it seems to me. If you have connections, if you have IQ 150, if you know how to professionally draw (or do something) – super, excellent, congratulations. All this will help you, definitely! But without this, you can also successfully do business, friends. Maybe slower, maybe with a lot of labor, but you can. Perhaps the same can be said about the second group, but, of course, to a much lesser extent. There will already be much slower, probably :-). However, you can. And for starters, you just need to open your own business, and over time, of course, you will gain experience, knowledge and a team …
