The main tasks of an entrepreneur, or what and how to do if you are an entrepreneur (part 2)

8. Foresight
Are you not a psychic? Sorry. Well, let’s do it, then somehow differently. OK stop, seriously. No superfluous feelings are meant. Remember, we have already called control one of the main tasks of an entrepreneur. I said there that everything needs to be measured and controlled. So, from these your measurements you must draw some conclusions. To analyze and draw real, practical conclusions. And on this basis, try to give some kind of forecast. What can change, which way, when, etc., in your business, of course, you understand. The task is not easy, but nonetheless.

In general, taking this opportunity, I’ll say that, of course, you can not perform all the main tasks of an entrepreneur that are listed here. Just like at school, you know, they made 7 out of 10, you get a solid three. Did 9 or 10 – five. In general, understand. Okay, let’s go further, a little bit left.

9. Changes
The headline might sound a little weird. But everything is simple – you must change your business, introduce novelty, set new business goals and objectives. In other words, you must improve your business by constantly making some changes. Maybe the word “change” is scary. But how to improve something without changing anything?

10. Negotiations
Negotiations are also a very important task for an entrepreneur, and not only in the literal sense of the word. I want to say that this includes not only the ability to negotiate with partners and enter into transactions, for example, but to communicate with people, and with your employees, and customers, and partners, and suppliers … In general, to communicate and convince is a very, very important skill in business. The fact that this is the last in the list of the most basic tasks of an entrepreneur does not say anything. Let me remind you, I immediately said, do not judge the importance of where the task is placed in this list.

Everything. The list is complete. Not the responsibility of the entrepreneur ended, I note, but only a list. 🙂 You have to solve, probably, even more tasks than we have listed today. But these were only the main tasks of the entrepreneur, I recall. Good luck in your work!
