How to make money on tea?

In order to open your own business you need a business idea, of course. Today we’ll talk about one interesting thing – we’ll call it “how to make money on tea”. Tea is a very popular modern drink, which has a lot of useful properties. More and more people understand this truth and prefer high-quality types of tea. Using these features, some enterprising people build their business on this. Let’s look at how to make money on tea?

The tea business is a rather profitable business, only requiring large investments. To start their activities in this area, you need to have 40-50 thousand dollars. But you can make money on tea well :-). It is important to think over the concept of your business: own some information regarding the types and quality of tea and decide which one to trade (by weight, packaged or packaged). Weighted tea is gaining increasing popularity, especially with various additives, and most packaged teas are considered low-grade. This is not to say that all consumers massively became tea gourmets, but most of them still prefer the quality, as well as the taste and beneficial properties of tea. Weighted tea has several advantages: a large selection (there are elite varieties); more often a good quality product; the buyer has the opportunity to determine the amount of your favorite drink.

Having decided on tea, it is necessary to establish contact with suppliers. The Internet today greatly facilitates this task. If you open one outlet, it’s better to look for a supplier in Russia, but if it’s 5-7 points, it’s more profitable to ship from China.

If we are talking about a small outlet, then it’s enough to have about 50 varieties of tea, 20 of which will be popular, but if you have a big tea shop, then about 200 varieties.

In order to increase your income, you can think about related products (for example, it can be special kettles for brewing, beautiful services). If you also trade coffee, then you need a coffee grinder and a coffee machine. In general, you will understand how to make money, how and by what :-).

Trading equipment in this business should be such as to attract buyers. These are beautiful showcases, and original containers for tea and coffee. In general, the word tea for many people is associated with home comfort and warmth, so it’s good if such a kind, homely atmosphere reigns in the store.

Of course, the place of the outlet plays an important role. The more people pass, the more income. A person may not even plan to buy tea, but will see a beautiful specialty store, want to drop by, and already there he will do the pleasant aroma of tea or coffee. According to statistics, about 60% of customers who liked the service become regular customers.

The selection of personnel must be approached very carefully. It should be well-trained, educated and responsible people, able to leave a good impression of the service.

The tea business is not an easy task, but if everything is well thought out initially, then the investment will pay off somewhere from six months to a year and a half, and then you can get good profit. So, making money on tea is quite real. Go for it!
